A sexting scandal is taking place at William Henry Harrison High School.

According to WCPO, superintendent Chris Brown informed parents several students are being investigated for sending nude pictures of underaged students throughout the school.

More from WCPO:

“Upon further investigation, we learned that this was not an isolated incident and in fact there were a number of inappropriate photos of students that were taken, saved and shared amongst a large number of students,” Brown said.

He believes students took the photos in the first place.

“It’s been crazy. “There’s been a lot of rumors going on,” a Harrison freshman told WCPO reporter John Genovese. “Just a bunch of rumors, like I heard ‘she’s in it’ or ‘he’s in it.’ It was just crazy.”

The names of the students involved were released to the parents, but the superintendent believes there are more involved. He asked parents to speak to their children about the severity of spreading such photos. He also asked the parents to monitor the students’ online and mobile phone habits.
